Scholarships
Average college tuition continues to rise due to inflation and the decreasing amount of state support. Student-athletes are expected to maintain a balance between athletics and academics, leaving them with limited time to work and earn money for tuition.
Our student-athletes, as members of a nationally recognized athletic program, deserve to feel supported in both academic and athletic endeavors. And that is what an endowed scholarship offers - support. When they take the field at the Michigan Stadium, skate onto the ice of Yost Ice Arena, or step up to the plate at Ray Fisher Stadium, student-athletes need not be burdened by the financial strain that college tuition poses.

“M Magazine” debuted in November 2004 as a way to tell the stories of the many talented and motivated individuals associated with Michigan Athletics. The University has a history of academic and athletic excellence, while benefiting the community and society in many ways; these are the stories “M” conveys. There are so many to be told and so often they go unnoticed.
