Those who have declared their intent to support Michigan Athletics in a will, trust, life income gift, or other legacy gift at a value of $100,000 or more are welcomed into the Wolverine Legacy Society. This society serves as a way to enhance legacies of estate giving donors for years to come. Benefits of joining the Wolverine Legacy Society include:
- Ability to allocate future priority points from deferred gift commitments to other individuals.
- Receive a one-time priority point infusion at the $1,000,000 commitment level, where one point is equivalent to $1,000.

One of the most rewarding aspects of planned giving for me is staying connected with the families of those who made legacy gifts. When I look at one of my girls on a planned giving scholarship, I'm reminded of that family member and still feel their presence as if they were in the stands cheering us on at our gymnastics meets.
